Clean Energy AS to Build a Hydroelectric Power Plant in Georgia

The Clean Energy Group of Lysaker Norway develops renewable energy projects in countries with a sustainable energy framework and untapped potential.

Their first project will be to develop, build and operate a 433 MW /1514 GWh Hydropower Project in Georgia by their Georgian subsidiary, Clean Energy Group Georgia LLC in conjunction with ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş., a Turkish construction and engineering conglomerate.

The design for the project was developed by the Italian engineering firm Studio Pietrangeli.

According to Georgia Today Clean Energy will invest seven to eight billion krones in the project which is expected to be completed in five years time.
